Relationship Between Emotional Intelligence and Occupational Stress Levels Among Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) are exposed to a wide range of stressors and therefore experience high levels of occupational stress and job burn-out. Having higher levels of emotional intelligence may be a key coping mechanism to decrease and/or ameliorate occupational stress. Gain insights from this cross-sectional descriptive study on the relationship between levels of emotional intelligence and stress levels among CRNAs, and strategies to decrease work-related stress and burnout among CRNAs.
