One of the highest times of nurse stress is during orientation.The Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) program demonstrates how effective stress management resources can be incorporated into standard educational formats such as a nurse residency program to reduce stress and improve mindfulness and resilience among new nurses. Take away information on what helps and hinders practice of the program principles during transition from school to professional nurse.
