The Most Important Story You Tell
In this interactive presentation, we’ll challenge the assumption that Story is primarily for communicating to other people. Drawing on new research done at Ohio State University, we’ll instead look at how the stories we tell ourselves can be the most important stories of our lives: boosting our resilience and helping us heal by processing hard emotions like shame, burnout, and grief. Sarah will walk the group through the process of unearthing their personal resilience story, giving them the opportunity to share that story with one other person, and then provide the blueprint for finding the individual stories to help them process burnout and grief.
