Ms. Lambrecht-Stock graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s in psychology and from The Ohio State University with a Master’s in social work. She has previously worked as a therapist for Nationwide Children’s Hospital Behavioral Health and is currently the outpatient social worker in the Neuro-Oncology outpatient clinic where she provides comprehensive psychosocial care for patients.
Healthcare staff experience a myriad of emotions throughout their careers; grief is one that affects the body, mind, and spirit. Programs that provide time and space to process grief are limited in healthcare systems. Remembrance and Renewal, a dedicated time and space to reflect, has survived at a Midwest Academic Comprehensive Cancer Center for 5 years, adapting to our times. This study begins to investigate the who, what, why of the program and sets up the next steps in this research.
