Dr. Chipps is a national scholar in nursing leadership science (NLS) and the nursing practice environment (NPE). Her work informs nursing staff and leaders on the optimization of the NPE addressing issues such as patient safety, top of license nursing practice, the physical work environment, workload in relation to adverse events, and workplace bullying.
