Gregory Crow is an Emeritus Professor and former director of graduate programs in leadership, case management and education at California State University, Sonoma. Greg has more than 40 years of professional nursing practice in a variety of roles and settings. His administrative and leadership positions have included clinical supervisor; director of nursing; assistant hospital administrator for patient care services for a multi-hospital system; and Board of Directors for Easter Seals of Northern California and the Oncology Nursing Society.

Crow has been a senior consultant with Tim Porter-O’Grady Associates for 30 years. He consults internationally in organizational and systems development, creating motivating work environments, transformational change and the implementation of professional governance systems. 

Crow is the director of the Vietnam Nurse Practice Improvement Project, which he founded in 2007 while on vacation in Vietnam to raise the level of practice for nurses in Vietnam. The group is working to implement professional governance and evidence-based practice improvement projects at five medical centers in Hanoi. 

Crow also is a community volunteer at Eisenhower Medical Center in California. He mentors nurse residents in conducting evidence-based practice and research projects. He also serves as an IRB member for Eisenhower Health and the University of California, San Diego, joint cancer research program.
