Jamie Leslie, PhD, RN, is an assistant professor at University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. She has worked primarily as a community health and home health nurse. Jamie learned meditation primarily through Zen Buddhist practice in Evanston, Illinois, and completed the experiential faculty training in mind-body medicine from the University of Cincinnati Center for Integrative Health and Wellness.  Drawing on Christian roots of meditative practice, Dr. Leslie became a Benedictine oblate (associate) in October 2016.
