Jeff started his clinical career at Emory University Hospital Midtown in Cardiovascular Surgery care. His clinical expertise and experience include Case Management, Medical-Surgical Care, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, Critical Care, Open Heart Surgery Recovery, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Hemo-dialysis. He began his career with Optum as a telephonic Case Manager in 2007 and has been a Clinical Manager, Associate Site Director, and Senior Director of Affordability and Solutions. He currently serves as the Executive Director for the Atlanta Population Health Solutions and Prevention site. Jeff obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a Certified Case Manager. Jeff also brings a strong business sense and years of management experience from his previous career in banking and education in economics and finance.

In his current role as Executive Director of Medical and Clinical Operations, he oversees the daily operations of the clinical and wellness programs. He works collaboratively with a interdisciplinary team to ensure the focus remains on quality improvement, improving healthcare outcomes, and focusing on the customer/member experience. He does this in a fast paced environment while providing a positive and seamless experience to the customers he serves.
