Kristina Crumbie-Barrick has been an emergency department nurse at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore for 6 years. She graduated from Stevenson University in Maryland, where she is currently enrolled in her Master’s in Nursing for education. She is a certified emergency nurse, an AHA instructor and certified in TNCC and ENPC. She is extremely passionate about the well-being of healthcare workers with a strong focus on emergency department staff burnout and secondary traumatic stress. She serves many roles, including clinical nurse, mentor, preceptor and educator and is involved in a variety of committee's and projects to facilitate change throughout her facility.
