Marje Winhoven, PharmD, BCACP
Assistant Professor – Pharmacy Practice, Division of Pharmacy Education and Innovation, The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy

Dr. Winhoven has been an assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy for three years, teaching in both the undergraduate and Doctor of Pharmacy curriculums.

She received her BS in biology from The Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences in 1999, PharmD from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 2008 and completed a residency in community pharmacy at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in conjunction with The Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio in 2015.

Prior to accepting her current appointment at the College of Pharmacy, her work experience included being a chemist at Boehringer Ingelheim – Roxane Labs for five years, a community pharmacist at Target for over ten years and a clinical pharmacist in home infusion at Option Care for three years.

Dr. Winhoven’s professional interests include all things teaching and wellbeing.

Personally, Dr. Winhoven lives in Worthington with her husband, two young daughters and crazy dog. When she is not at the College of Pharmacy, you might find her: running, reading, attempting to decorate her home, learning how to cook a respectable meal, traveling or trying to keep her plants alive!
