Dr. Rachel Baker is a Nurse Researcher at TriHealth in Cincinnati, Ohio. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Michigan and her doctorate degree from the University of Cincinnati. She provides mentorship for nurses involved in evidence-based practice changes and nursing research studies across TriHealth’s healthcare system. Her passion involves developing nurses at the bedside to approach practice with a questioning attitude and use the EBP process and research methods to advance nursing practice. Dr. Baker teaches graduate-level research methods and biostatistics and has presented locally, nationally, and internationally. She has been recognized as a leader in nursing research and was awarded the 2018 Distinguished Nurse Researcher Award from Mount St Joseph University.
