Susannah Turner is a student affairs practitioner who values a student-centered approach based on more than 20 years of experience supporting students through their undergraduate and professional education. Susannah earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Science in Educational Administration with a specialization in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from Texas A&M University. Susannah began her work at The Ohio State University in 1998 working Residence Life. In 2012, she transitioned from serving undergraduate students to the professional school setting as the Director of Student Affairs for the College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University. Susannah has served the profession through organizations such as the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International, NASPA Region IV-East, and currently serves as the Secretary for the Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Affairs Section of the American Dental Education Association. Her passion is to help students achieve their goals by overcoming challenges and building self-efficacy for future success. She has been married for 17 years to her husband Rick, and has two children. She enjoys spending her free-time with them or training for triathlons.
