S. Veena Satyapriya, MD
Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine

S. Veena Satyapriya, MD, joined The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2015 as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Logistics at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio and her Medical Degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, Toledo, Ohio. She then completed her residency in Anesthesiology followed by fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Cleveland Clinic in 2014. Dr. Satyapriya’s academic interests include surgical critical care, mechanical circulatory support and employee wellness. Dr. Satyapriya has taken an interest in the education and mentorship of future physicians and serves as the Program Director of the Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program for the Department of Anesthesiology. In addition, she is the Co-Medical Director of the Extracorporeal Life Support Program for the Ross Heart Hospital at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. With Drs. Flores and Tripathi Dr. Satyapriya is a co-founder of the RossFit Wellness Initiative at the Ross Heart Hospital, dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles to improve well-being and productivity among employees at the medical center.
