Global healthcare transformation is guided by the triple aim of improving health, enhancing the patient experience and reducing costs. Experts have recommended adding a fourth aim, improving the provider experience. Gain insights from powerful, firsthand stories of nurses on what is possible when they find meaning and joy in their workplace environment and are able to more fully contribute to achieving the triple aim in healthcare and to their own well-being. The study also identifies specific implications for leaders, leadership education and supportive practice environments.
